Daniel Simon received an Honorable Mention with 162 points.
The Jury really liked his creative approach to the ceiling and roof structure, using a beautiful mesh inspired by the Centre Pompidou in Metz, France.
About Daniel:
I'm from Bridgetown, County Wexford.
My hobbies and interests are architecture, computers, technology and skateboarding. I decided to study architecture because I had an interest in designing house plans when I was young because I was copying what my father was doing at the time, and I was encouraged to follow this path as I grew up.
My favourite part of my submission was the timber stucture I deveolped for the building and working out how the structual elements worked.
