About the event
In 2027 The Society of Creative Anachronism ("SCA" returns to host Strawberry Raid for the sixth year!
Each year this event gets better and a bit bigger. We have a good team of coordinators helping to make it relaxed and enjoyable. It is attended by new people in Ireland who want to check out the Current Middle Ages, and also by veteran SCAdians who have been playing "medieval" for decades! We get attendees from all over Europe, North America, and. many different Kingdoms. Europe is the Kingdom of Drachenwald, and officially Sigginstown Castle is in the Shire of Dun in Mara (east Ireland). The event is heavily supported by the Barony of Eplaheimr (West Ireland), and Glen Rathlin (North Ireland): all three regions come together on this event and are collectively known as "Lough Devarnee".
