We are open most weekends (Fri-Sat-Sun) from mid-March through September.
Grounds and Cafe open from 12-5 p.m.
Guided Tours will be at 12:30 and 2:30 p.m. It is not possible to go on your own tour without a guide.

Schedule is subject to change occasionally. Please book in advance to save a little money and receive notification of any changes to your booking. We also accept cash and card at the door.
If you would like to organize a group tour on other dates or times from mid-February onwards, please contact us to arrange! We can conduct your tour in Spanish or Italian if you arrange and book a group in advance.
The guided tour of the tower lasts about 1+ hours. If there are a lot of questions or discussion it could go a bit longer so please tell us if you have a time constraint and we will curb our enthusiasm for the subject and move it along! We start in the Big House and tell you about the history of the castle and our own journey of renovation. Then we enter the tower and go from ground floor to top of parapet (weather permitting). People do need to be able to climb the stairs, and there is a handrail on each side. There is seating at each level to rest. If people have mobility challenges, they are welcome to go in as far as they want and stop at that level. The first 20+ minutes is on the ground floor. Do you have children in your group? We strive to keep them entertained and engaged by having them hunt for our visiting mice (not live) and find things in the paintings!
GETTING HERE
Sigginstown Castle is in the Magical Land of Tacumshane, in the Ancient Barony of Forth in County Wexford, Ireland. Tacumshane is nestled between the popular sea-side villages of Kilmore Quay to the west and Lady's Island to the east.
We are located only 15 minutes drive from Rosslare Harbor and the ferry to Wales, France and Spain, making a lovely first or last stop in Ireland!
If flying, we are under 2 hours drive south of Dublin Airport. The road is mostly motorway with a speedy trip down to Wexford via the M-50, M11 and N25. At Killinick village turn left at the Merry Elf pub, and follow signs for Meylers Millhouse. At the four-way crossing, turn right, go past St. Catherine's ruined church, and you will see the castle on your left. Please DON'T turn down the cul-de-sac road, continue on and the main gate will be on the left with the Norman Way sign.
Enter "Sigginstown Castle" on Google Maps for correct entrance. Don't use our eircode or it will take you to the wrong gate!
