Sigginstown Castle Open Tour (1:30 pm Time)

Tour the tower of Sigginstown Castle and hear about 500+ years of history and the recent renovations to make it live again!

Visitors enter through the attached 17th century house which has also been renovated to a private residence. The renovation adventures have been filmed on RTE “The Great House Revival” and prior on HGTV “House Hunters International”.

The tower has six levels reached by a steep stone staircase with sturdy handrails on each side. Visitors get a chance to rest and visit at each level. Multiple floors gave been colorfully painted with examples from historical patterns.

Enter on Norman Way gate next to the glass sign (use Google Maps to look for “Sigginstown Castle”.) Please do not use gate by tower or "cul-de-sac" road. Look for yellow parking signs. Grounds open at 1 pm with guided tours at 1:30 and 3:30 pm. If early for your tour, please wait in the large steel barn, and then come to the red door next to the tower at 1:30 or 3:30.

All animals must be kept on leash at all times and are not allowed in buildings. The electric fence is live - please take care.

Cost: 10 Euros Adult, 8 Euros for Children/Students/Seniors  and groups of 6 people or more. We take cash and cards at the door, or you can pay in advance to secure your tour and save time. If you would like to schedule a group tour or special event for 2024 on other dates,  please contact us!
