Join us to keep the bells ringing (by humans) at Christ Church Cathedral!

We bring our third WB Yeats performance of the year to Waterford on Thursday, 5 September 2024 in support of an ancient activity. The Christ Church Cathedral bells are supported by a dedicated group of bell ringers who ring the 8 bells for services and weddings weekly. This is a program of WB Yeats life, narrated by Denise Leahy as Maud Gonne, Yeats’ life long muse and love. Anna Skrine has composed music to Yeat’s poetry and we sing them. We had not been familiar with his work before collaborating on this with Denise and Anna - the music and chosen poems are lovely!

Program is about 1.5 hours with an intermission for refreshments. Benefits the bell restoration at Christ Church Cathedral.
