Sigginstown Castle has existed for 500 years, and there are a lot of great spaces and time periods to explore. We enjoy bringing history to life through participation, and welcome group bookings so we can make your visit here special! We have some open experiences periodically to join, else we are happy to schedule a group event to fit your schedule.

18th Century Tea Journey

Step back in time to the 18th century and learn how tea became the favorite beverage in Ireland. This 1.5 hour experience takes place in the elegant Big House and provides teas that were drunk in period, along with a Chinese tea ceremony and learning to read your tea leaves. 8 people minimum booking - €20 per person, or bundle it with a tour for a longer visit!

Shanties & Songs of the Sea

We celebrate the castle's location on the Wexford coast and shores of the Celtic Sea. This 2 hour experience is in the vault of the 16th century tower, and comes with an assortment of beverages and nibbles. We will lead you in sea-shanties, stories and songs of the sea from many different periods. Your participation is a strong part of this event - it's not a concert! 10 people minimum booking - €30 per person or bundle it with a tour for a longer visit.

Murder at the Castle

Ever played Clue? This 3 hour experience gives participants a chance to play characters and solve a murder mystery. Someone's been murdered at Sigginstown in the past 500 years, and you get to figure it out! This experience comes with beverages, appetizers and desserts, and the group will be in the Big House and Tower for various scenes. Dress up big or use one of our props to personalize your character. 10 people minimum - €70 per person.
