Sigginstown Castle has existed for 500 years, and there are a lot of great spaces and time periods to explore. We enjoy bringing history to life through participation, and welcome group bookings so we can make your visit here special! We have some open experiences periodically to join, else we are happy to schedule a group event to fit your schedule.

17th Century Beverage Journey
We welcome guests to time travel and learn how coffee, tea and chocolate arrived in Europe. This experience is big on history, fun and participation. Practice a Chinese tea ceremony, taste chocolate. Beverages provided will be black and green teas available in the period, Coffee and chocolate made in the period style! 1.5 hours. €20 per person. Group size 12-50. Bundle it with a tour for a longer visit!
Music Session in the Tower
Spend some time in the candlelit 16th century tower. Join us as we sing and play Irish music, teach some sea shanties, and make a joyful noise together! We hope our guests will sing along, offer up a story and guest musicians are welcome. Music is from all over the world, and across multiple centuries. Your participation is a strong part of this event - it's not a concert! 10 people minimum booking - €30 per person or bundle it with a tour for a longer visit. Group size of 10-20.
Murder at the Castle
Ever played Clue? This 3 hour experience gives participants a chance to play characters and solve a murder mystery. Someone's been murdered at Sigginstown in the past 500 years, and you get to figure it out! This experience comes with beverages, appetizers and desserts, and the group will be in the Big House and Tower for various scenes. Dress up big or use one of our props to personalize your character. 10 people minimum - €70 per person. Group size 12-20
Art Classes
Art Classes provide a relaxed and fun learning opportunity. Artist and teacher Dawn Sayers will guide you through pen & ink drawing to watercolor. Duration is 2.5 hours
