About the event
We at Sigginstown Castle and Butlerstown Castle appreciate the passion of other historical home owners to keep and restore places of the past. Coollattin House was built in the 17th century and was bought a few years ago by several partners dedicated to renovating the house. The afternoon will start at 4 pm (16:00) with tea and light nibbles. Then house tours will be provided and you can walk in the gardens among the rhododendrons. At 6 pm (18:00) we will perform The Life and Loves of WB Yeats” musical story. This features his poems set to original music by Anna Skrine, with Denise Leahy narrating in the role of Maud Gonne, one of his main loves. We perform in costume and the story of Yeats life will inspire you, while giving you a sense of his own time host…
