About the event
Come try out the Middle Ages for a day or longer! This is our fourth year of hosting the Society for Creative Anachronism for a 6-day excursion into the past. This is a private event but the public can attend by registering and paying in advance, while also attending in costume. Your medieval clothing does not have to be authentic, and if you need a loan of clothing to attend we can have it ready.
During the event there will be arts and sciences classes, tournaments and archery to watch, music, and the feel of a small medieval village here at Sigginstown Castle! Most people will be camping onsite, while others will stay at a modern offsite residence of their choosing. There will be two tours of the castle during the event, and the tower and grounds are accessible to attendees.
